Global Neuropsychiatry Group (GNG) International Case Presentation, Webinar 7 (2023)

The GNG is a virtual group established to provide a forum for psychiatrists, neurologists, psychologists, neurophysiologists, clinical neuroscientists and others interested in the field of neurosciences to share knowledge and to learn from each other. The aim of the group is to make neuropsychiatry accessible across the globe. Clinicians have an opportunity to discuss complex cases and share research ideas.

The Global Neuropsychiatry Group is endorsed by the International Neuropsychiatry Association.

Prof Dr Dominique Endres, Freiburg i.Br.

Prof Dr Dominique Endres is a clinician scientist. He works in Germany at the University Medical Center Freiburg in the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. His research focuses on clinical immunopsychiatry. In his talk, he will address “autoimmune and other organic causes of obsessive-compulsive disorders”.

 Prof Dr Ludger Tebartz van Elst is Professor for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the University Hospital Freiburg, deputy director for the clinic of psychiatry and head of the section for experimental neuropsychiatry. He has founded and developed the field of neuropsychiatric research at the University Clinic Freiburg and is head of the section for neuropsychiatry at the German Association for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, Psychosomatics and Nervous System Disorders (DGPPN). He has published more than 260 peer reviewed papers and written or edited 9 monographies/books and numerous bookchapters in the field.
